Jaipur, Chandigarh freight rates up

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Jaipur and Chandigarh were quoted higher by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on some cargo enquiries against tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said scattered cargo enquiries against less availability of trucks mainly pushed up Jaipur and Chandigarh freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur and Chandigarh moved up by Rs 500 each to Rs 17,500 and Rs 18,500 respectively.
