Metropolitan Magistrate Purshottam Pathak extended the police custody of Neeraj, Anurag and Nitin till February 25.
The prosecution had sought their 5-day custody, saying their earlier police remand was not sufficient as "the accused persons had retrieved massive data which is in encrypted form and their presence is needed to decipher it".
"We need their custody to decode the encrypted data as only they are aware of the software they have used," it told the court.
The police also put on record recoveries made by it in the probe in document form while submitting that they be not made public.

Counsel for accused Anurag opposed the police plea for extension of police custody, saying the main accused in the case Arvind Dabas is already in judicial custody and the police have made all the recoveries from them.
The court, however, rejected his submission, saying the accused are needed in police custody because of technical requirements in the investigation.
The court directed the police to ensure medicines are given to him after consulting doctors.
