The actor, who is currently in cinema screens with his fantasy-adventure 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' was awarded with 2,492 star on the famous Hollywood boulevard.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by director Sam Raimi, actor Seth Rogen, younger brother Dave and their mother Betsy, the Ace Showbiz reported.
"I wish that I could put a bunch of names on this star because this is a collaborative business. The people behind the scenes, the people who have been there for me, all the way through, if I could, I'd put all your names on there. Thank you, and I'll always remember this," Franco said.
