Addressing a media conference here on Thursday, he said that the Jamiat's teaching is peaceful, it believes in philanthropy and can't harm anybody.

He said that defaming Ahl-E-Hadith through slandering has been operated regularly by many other organisations.

Speaking on the occasion the Jamiat's state chief Saeed Faizi said that a section of the press had reported recently that youths held in connection for terrorism belong to Jamiat-E-Ahle-E-Hadith, quoting an ATS officer saying so. He said that the statement is irresponsible and incorrect and the Jamiat condemns it.

The government and true nationalists must unify and stand in unison to identify people terrorising India and stop punishing wrongfully accused youth of our country. Unless the real culprits are not held and punished, the country will continue to face terrorism, he said.
