Jammu: The Army will commemorate contributions of its soldiers who laid down their lives in Nowshera sector to protect country's territory from enemies.
The 'Nowshera Day' will be celebrated on 8th of this month to commemorate the contribution of the gallant soldiers, an Army spokesperson said.

Jammu: The state crime branch booked four persons for allegedly using fake traffic route permits for their vehicles.
A criminal case in this connection was registered against Ramesh Kumar, Tilak Raj, Varinder Kumar and Harbans Lal, police said.
The four were allegedly found carrying the fake documents during a routine traffic checking.

Srinagar: Body of an elderly man was found under a flyover in Jehangir Chowk area of the city, police said.
The man seemed to have died of cold and efforts are on to establish his identity, they said.

Jammu: State Social Welfare, ARI and Trainings minister Sakina Itoo said the state government is committed towards ensuring the reach of development initiatives to far-flung areas of the state.
