Expressing surprise over the non-initiation of the judicial inquiry into the killing of Jasjeet Singh, the groups also termed the registration of FIRs against Sikh youths a "breach of agreement".
"We demand a judicial inquiry into this matter which has claimed the life of a youth," T S Wazir, Chairman J-K State Gurudwara Prabandhak Board said.
"Registration of FIRs against Sikh youths is clearly a breach of agreement reached between various Sikh organisations and the district administration to end protest in Jammu," he added.
"There was no probe in the anti-sikh riots of 1984 and 1989 in Jammu in which several members of the minority community were killed," he said.
He also appealed to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to intervene in the matter and take steps to prevent the harassment of the Sikh minority in the state.
