The 300 km long highway was thrown open for vehicular traffic this morning, a senior police officer said.
The highway was closed late last night due to landslides trigged by heavy rain in the Panthal area and two other places in the Ramban district.
"The Highway was thrown open for vehicular traffic at around 11:30 in the morning after remaining closed for few hours," SSP Traffic (NH) Sanjay Kotwal told PTI.
He said that the traffic was resorted soon after the road was reopened and there was no vehicle stranded on the highway.
The official added that the traffic was plying smoothly on the highway.
