Garhwa and Dumka recorded 43.6 deg C, while Palamau and Chaibasa experienced 43.4 deg C and 43.1 deg C respectively, the sources said.
Jamtara recorded 42 degrees Celsius and Giridih and Lohardaga recorded 41 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius respectively.
Khunti and Latehar experienced 39 deg C.
