Telugu film actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena party today released a 12-point 'Vision Document' promising, among other things, political reservation to the backward classes in the legislative bodies.
Kalyan released the document here, saying ensuring a livelihood with better standards to all would be the guiding motto of his party agenda.
While the main opposition YSR Congress has already released its 2019 election manifesto, the Jana Sena is the second political party to come out with its promises to people.
"Clean water to drink, clean air to breathe and healthy surroundings should be accessible to everyone.
Jana Sena will strive to ensure this. Building a civil society with complete protection to women is Jana Senas strong resolve. Our manifesto will reflect this," Kalyan said.
In the vision document, the Jana Sena promised 33 per cent political reservation for women, supply of LPG free of cost to all women, increasing reservation to the backward classes by 5 per cent, if feasible;
