Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan Thursday spurned alleged overtures by the ruling Telugu Desam Party for a realignment of the two parties, asserting that his outfit would contest all 175 assembly seats in the elections due in May this year.

Except with the Left parties, the Jana Sena would not have tie-up with any other party, Kalyan said during an interaction with party workers here.

"The opposition camp is speaking about the Jana Sena's seat-sharing with the ruling party while leaders of the ruling party too are trying to destabilise us by speaking about possible poll alliance. Please don't go by this false propaganda," Kalyan told his party workers.

In the 2014 elections, when the Jana Sena was launched, it extended support to some parties (TDP and BJP) only to ensure stability, he pointed out.

"This time we are contesting the elections from all 175 seats to strike a balance. Our aim is to protect the interests of future generations. Top priority will be given to women and youth," the actor-turned-politician added.
