Janmabhoomi programme completed in 337 panchayats: minister

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Irrigation and Management of Water Resources D Umamaheshwara Rao said here today that the Janmabhoomi programme has been completed in 337 village panchayats and 93 wards during this week (October 2 to October 9) in the Krishna district.
He told reporters here today evening that 39,578 pensions were distributed to widows and aged people in Krishna district.
Nearly Rs 30 crore was distributed to beneficiaries under the Janmabhoomi programme.
He said that the Pulichintala project would be completed on 2015 and Krishna water would be stored by next year.
