The pair sparked rumours of a new romance after Jones was photographed walking hand-in-hand with the filmmaker in Santa Monica, California, reported Daily Mail.
Jones became a first time mother to son Xander last year, but she has refused to name the child's father.
She has previously dated actor Ashton Kutcher and singer Josh Groban.
