"We held talks with Japan Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC) and Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) with regard to setting up of JIT and investment among a wide range of subjects," Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told reporters here upon arrival from his 10-day tour of Japan and South Korea.
"We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with JETRO to facilitate Japanese investments in the proposed JIT, which is going to be the 12th one in India," he said.
The Chief Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aggressive campaign abroad on 'Make in India' has brought encouraging results.
Asserting that India is becoming a hot destination for foreign investors, he said, during his visit to Japan and South Korea, the industrialists and their bodies in the two countries have evinced a keen interest to invest in the country.
