Japanese engineer dies in mishap in Haryana

A 27-year-old Japanese engineer, working in a company in Bawal area here, today died after his hands got suddenly entrapped and pulverised in a defective machine, police said.
"Karooja Fujeeta's hands got trapped in the machine, which he was repairing and which abruptly started working," police said.
Besides Fujeeta, another company official Chhabata, who too was working there, sustained serious injuries, they said.
The injured official was brought to the local trauma centre where the doctors referred him to a private hospital in Gurgaon.
A senior police official said that the proceedings regarding the post mortem examination would be conducted after the engineer's relatives reach here from Delhi.
The body was presently lying in the local civil hospital.
