Jarkiholi given charge of Ministry of small scale industries

Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi, who had resigned as Excise Minister after repeatedly making known his unhappiness over his portfolio and later withdrew it, has been given the Small Scale Industries department in a minor reshuffle.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has allocated Small Scale Industries from Commerce and Industries Department to Jarkiholi, while keeping the Excise portfolio with himself.
A Raj Bhavan communique said on the advice of Chief Minister, the Governor has re-allocated the portfolio.
Jarkiholi had resigned from his post last month, citing "personal reasons", but was persuaded by Chief Minister not to press it assuring him of change in the portfolio.
