Jason Aldean named most downloaded male country artist

Singer Jason Aldean has been named the most downloaded male country artist after garnering 21.5 million digital track sales.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America
(RIAA), the 'Burnin' It Down' hitmaker's songs are still on demand since his first track in 2005, reported Ace Showbiz.
"This is such a huge honour, and one that everyone on my team earned together. I love country music, and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else... There was never a Plan B for me. I can't thank the RIAA or country music fans enough for helping us get to this level... It's unbelievable!," Aldean said in a statement.

Aldean's latest single 'Burnin' It Down' was sold 183,000 copies in the first week of release. The singer is currently hitting the road for his tour which will take place until October.
In addition to his tour schedule, Aldean is preparing for his sixth album which will arrive later this year.
