"The law degree of the Delhi Law Minister has turned out to be fake and he has been arrested. Despite being unmasked in public, AAP leaders and government are attacking the Centre. This is an example of the the pot calling the kettle black," Javadekar told reporters here.
"This is the first instance of blatant betrayal of law by a law minister. The Delhi Law Minister should immediately resign over the fake degree case. Moreover, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should apologise to the people," he said.
Mocking the recent alliance of anti-BJP parties, Javadekar said these parties which opposed each other in the past have joined hands in the run-up to the Bihar assembly elections. Such an alliance would not affect BJP's election prospects, since these political outfits have zero credibility, he said.
Replying to a question about senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi's comments on Modi government's ambitious Clean Ganga Project, which is also known as 'Namami Gange', he said, "Joshi is our respected leader and all of us wish to see the Ganga clean. There is no disagreement on the issue".
