Four to five jawans became emotional and agitated following the death of a fellow soldier, an army officer said. It is "not a case of mutiny", he said.
The death took place during a routine training activity, he said.
"The jawan complained of chest pain prior to a route march and was checked by the unit medical officer who found him fit. He later collapsed during the march. He was rushed to the field ambulance where he died," the officer said.
The incident is being investigated like all cases of death during training, the officer said.
