Jaypee Infratech Q1 Net drops 43 pc to Rs 26 cr

Jaypee Infratech today reported 43.23 per cent drop in standalone net profit to Rs 26.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
The company's net profit in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal was Rs 45.96 crore, Jaypee Infratech Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
Net sales of the company during the quarter were at Rs 513.44 crore, registering a drop of 27.23 per cent compared to Rs 705.64 crore in the year ago fiscal, it said.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 15.80 apiece, up 4.84 per cent from previous close. PTI SID

Tree House net profit up 12.2 pc at Rs 18.02 crore in Q1 * Tree House Education & Accessories Ltd today said its net profit has jumped 12.2 per cent at Rs 18.02 crore in the first quarter of 2015-16 as against Rs 16.06 crore in the same period last year.

Snowman Logistics Q1 net up over two-fold to Rs 5.53 cr * Snowman Logistics has reported over two-fold jump in net profit to Rs 5.53 crore for the April-June quarter of this fiscal against Rs 2.37 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2014-15.
It said revenues for the quarter under review increased by 20 per cent to Rs 59.20 crore, from Rs 49.33 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a statement.
Snowman Logistics is one of the large integrated temperature controlled logistics service provider.
The firm added 4,500 pallet warehouses at Mumbai, taking the total installed capacity at Mumbai to 22,370 pallets, which is the largest capacities in any single city in the country.
Snowman's total warehousing capacity now stands at 90,000 pallets. Expansion is also underway at Bangalore, Baramati, Jaipur, Cochin and Kolkata, which would take the total capacity to 1,14,000 pallets by March 2016.
