One of the demands is The government should take steps that would create confidence among the public that a Bill to protect indigenous people would be passed in the Assembly by August 15, the JCILPS said in a release.
Another demand is the state government should assure the people that the Bill to presented in the Assembly would cover the points already submitted to the state government to protect the indigenous people of Manipur.
The JCILPS, at a public meeting here, also decided to continue its agitation till the Bill is passed in the Assembly, the release said.
