Announcing the list of candidates, state JD(U) president Bashisth Narayan Singh said sitting MLC Neeraj Kumar will contest the Patna Graduates seat, while Arjun Prasad will be the JD(U) nominee from Patna Teachers legislative council seat.
He said the JD(U) has nominated Sanjay Chaudhary as its candidate from the Kosi Graduates seat, while Vinod Kumar Chaudhary and Purushottam Yadav have been made the ruling party's candidate from the Darbhanga Graduates and the Darbhanga Teachers legislative council seats respectively.
The polling and counting of votes for these eight legislative council seats will take place on March 20, according to official sources here.
