"It is good if discussions are held in Parliament over the CAG reports," JD(U) MP Shabi Ali told reporters outside Parliament House

However, Ali hastened to add, "But we will go with the final decision of NDA on the issue as we are an ally."

Proceedings of both Houses of Parliament were disrupted today as non-Left opposition led by BJP continued to demand resignation of the government over the CAG reports.

"Our view is that public money is involved in the running of the Houses. So the Houses can debate on the issue. But we will abide by NDA decision on the issue."

Besides JD(U), CPI is also against the stalling of Parliament as the party wanted discussion on other issues like grid failure, price rise, retrenchment of Maruti workers and banking strike.

"Though we are concerned about Coalgate, we want discussions to take place on other issues also like banking strike, inflation, grid failure, Maruti retrenchment. That is why it is improper to disrupt the House for long," CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta said.
