Initially, Haari as well as Tol Singh Bhuria had filed their nominations for the November 21 by-poll but later the JD(U) national unit declared Haari as its official candidate, State JD(U) president Govind Yadav told PTI.
The party's second candidate, Bhuria has withdrawn his papers in support of Haari.
While Congress has fielded former Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria from the seat, BJP gave ticket to sitting MLA Nirmala Bhuria.
Nirmala is the daughter of late Dileep Singh Bhuria who won the last Lok Sabha polls from the seat.
