JDA officer held for taking bribe

Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths arrested an enforcement officer of Jaipur Development Authority today for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh.
Suresh Parewa, a police officer on deputation to JDA, had demanded the bribe from the complainant who wanted to get vacated his plot, where his neighbour had started construction work.
"After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and he was nabbed in Vaishali nagar area. He tried to flee but he was caught and placed under arrest," Inspector General of Police, ACB, Dinesh MN said.
