Former Prime Minister and JDS chief H D Deve Gowda today met Chief Election Commissioner O P Rawat and filed a complaint against the Siddaramaiah government accusing it of ignoring the model code of conduct for the May 12 assembly polls in the state.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Gowda said he has drawn the attention of CEC to the actions of some officers, which were "detrimental to free and fair elections."
