In futures trading at the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in March fell by Rs 125, or 0.87 per cent, to Rs 14,200 per quintal with an open interest of 6,564 lots.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in April moved down by Rs 110, or 0.76 per cent, to Rs 14,220 per quintal in 5,712 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at existing levels, adequate stocks position, kept pressure on jeera prices at futures trade.
