At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in June lost Rs 100, or 0.90 per cent, to Rs 11,010 per quintal with an open interest of 9,237 lots.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in May shed Rs 75, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 10,960 per quintal in 426 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by speculators on the back of sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly kept jeera prices lower at futures trade.
