At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in December fell by Rs 150, or 0.69 per cent, to Rs 21,605 per quintal with an open interest of 9,699 lots.
On similar lines, the spice for delivery in January was trading lower by Rs 100, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 21,665 per quintal in 5,196 lots.
Analysts said continued profit-booking by speculators at existing levels, easing demand at the spot market against adequate stocks position, kept jeera prices lower at futures trade.
