At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in April month fell Rs 80, or 0.52 per cent to Rs 15,275 per quintal with an open interest of 10,182 lots.
Likewise, the spice for delivery in May contracts was trading lower by Rs 65, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 15,500 per quintal in 5,112 lots.
Marketmen said besides profit-booking by participants, easing demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly influenced jeera prices at futures trade.
