Jeera rises on stockists' buying

Jeera prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today on stockists' buying amid uptick in demand.
However, other spices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Marketmen said fresh buying support from stockists on pick up in demand from retailers mainly led to rise in jeera prices.
Jeera common and jeera best quality went up by Rs 100 each to Rs 21,000-21,100 and Rs 23,400-23,900 per quintal, respectively.
