Marketmen said besides rising demand from retailers and stockists, restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up jeera prices.
In the national capital, jeera -new common and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 17,600-17,800 and Rs 19,700-20,400 per quintal respectively.
