Jeev makes cut despite poor finish

Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh ran into a disastrous stretch over the last four holes, dropping four bogeys in a row, to finish at four-over 146 but still managed to make the cut at the midway stage of the Mynavi ABC Championship on Japan Tour.
The Chandigarh-golfer, who shot one-over 72 in the first round dropped from one-under to three-over to lie tied 56th.
Jeev, who has been battling injuries, started with a bogey on eighth but birdies on 11th and 14th saw him get into red numbers, but the poor finish saw him fall.
Yuta Ikeda of Japan, who shot 63 in the first round, added a second round 69 to get to 10-under 132. He is one shot ahead of Keiichiro Fukabori (64-69), SK Ho (67-66), Hiroo Kawai (67-66) and Yoshiniro Fujimoto 69-64).
