Paramount Pictures has nabbed the rights for a feature film on the franchise by SEGA with Neal H Moritz serving as a producer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Miller's longtime Blur Studio collaborator Jeff Fowler is all set to make his feature directorial debut with the film.
"Sonic the Hedgehog" revolves around Sonic and his friends, such as Tails and Knuckles, who run around collecting items and points as they attempt to foil the global domination plans of Doctor Eggman Robotnik.
Fowler previously wrote and directed an animated short.
