He has been inconsistent in front of the opposition goal this ISL season but Chennaiyin FC striker Jeje Lalpekhlua today said that he would love to score in the summit clash against Bengaluru FC tomorrow.
Jeje struggled to score in the early part of the season but found his form back later on.
"I can score more goals. But this is football, sometimes it happens (missing chances). It is part of the game. Tomorrow, I hope it does not happen," he told reporters on the eve of the final match of the fourth edition of ISL here.
Jeje said the team would do everything to lift the trophy.
"I think it is going to be a competitive game. We are here to lift the trophy. We will give everything. Bengaluru are a very good side, they have a lot of good players," he said.
He said ISL has been making improvements over the years with the pace of the game also increasing.
