The 43-year-old 'On the Dance Floor' hitmaker, who is often voted one of the world's best-dressed women, says it is important for her to look good at all times as it makes her feel better about herself, reported Female First online.
"I like the whole idea of travelling, of looking good, and doing it well. I make it as simple and as beautiful as I can because my life is kind of big," said the mother to four-year-old twins Max and Emme.
"So I pack my luggage, or dress myself, or comb my kids' hair, pick up their clothes - that makes our life beautiful, you know? There is something very elegant in that," she said.
Lopez also revealed how she likes to keep her famed plunging Versace dress, which she wore to the Grammys in 2000, under wraps even though her housekeeper wants it on display.
"I have that at home. The other day, my housekeeper put it on a mannequin in my spa, where I get my hair and make-up done. She sent me a picture. She was like, 'You like this dress?' Um, yeah, but I don't know if I like it out in the house," Lopez added.
