Jessica Biel's dogs were spotted with shock collars when the actress took them out for a stroll.
The collars are electronic remote training devices that can be used to stop problematic dog behaviours, like barking or aggression, reported Us magazine.
Although the collars are commonly used to teach obedience, they are controversial because low level shocks on dogs are a form of animal cruelty.
The 31-year-old actress, who is a self-confessed animal lover, was seen cuddling her pitbull, Tina, and husband Justin Timberlake's boxer.
Biel will be seen next in 'The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea'.
