The new flights, to be operated on the Thiruvananthapuram- Doha and Kozhikode-Doha sectors, will initially fly three days a week and then from June 1 they would be converted into daily services, Jet Airways said in a release today.
The airlines also said it has introduced special fares for the new sectors, which will operated with 168-seater Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, having 12 seats in premiere and 156 seats in economy class.
"Currently Jet Airways operates four daily flights to Doha (two from Mumbai and one each from Delhi and Kochi) and with the launch of these two new flights, it would now connect three cities of Kerala including Kochi with the Gulf country, the airline said.
While for the Kozhikode-Doha route, it has offered the return special economy introductory base fare of Rs 12,170 (excluding taxes) and for the return Premiere introductory base fare of Rs 28,095 (excluding taxes).
Similarly, for the Thiruvananthapuram-Doha route, the return special economy introductory base fare have been offered at Rs 9,250 (excluding taxes) while the return premiere introductory base fare for Rs 29,560 (excluding taxes), the release said.
