On Thursday last, armed robbers struck a group of eight people travelling to Bulandshahr in a vehicle on the Yamuna Expressway in the early hours, shooting dead a man and looting cash and jewellery.
Four women, who were travelling in the car along with as many men, alleged that they were raped at gunpoint after they tried to resist the robbery bid.
She also said that the family was facing financial crisis after the death of her husband, who was shot dead by the armed men, a senior official said.
After receiving her application, District Magistrate B N Singh, on the report of Sub Divisional Magistrate, has recommended for financial help to the family from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

The woman's three daughters will be admitted to Kasturba Vidyalaya, while two others at private English medium school, the official said, adding that family and pension benefits would also be provided to aggrieved family.
They said the party would hold protests if the victims do not get justice and culprits were not arrested soon.
Also, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh has also written to the state government to provide financial help to the victims and demanded action against the policemen, under whose jurisdiction the incident took place, for failing to check crime in their area.
Meanwhile, police was yet to arrest the accused in the case.
