Jeweller, Mid-Day Meal in-charge abducted

Two persons - a jeweller and a Mid-Day Meal (MDM) in-charge of Kashichak and Rajauli blocks have been abducted at gun point by armed men in Bihar's Nawada district, a police officer said today.
Jeweller Dhananjay Kumar and the MDM in-charge Amarjeet Kumar Sah were riding a motorcycle on way to their home last night when when some armed men abducted the two at gun point from Bhadokhara village under Mufassil police station area, Superintendent of Police (SP) Parvez Akhtar said.
The abductors bundled the two in a jeep and took them away to an unknown destination, the SP said.
Raids were being carried out at different places to rescue the two, Akhtar said.
The jeweller had survived a bid to kidnap him along with his brother Sanjay Kumar three years ago, but the siblings had resisted after which the abductors had shot at and injured the two.
While Dhananjay Kumar survived after receiving extensive treatment the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in the state capital, his brother had died on the spot.
