A box of gold and imitation jewellery was stolen from the sets of Anushka Shetty-starrer Tollywood film 'Rudramadevi' at Gopanpalli here today, police said.
Ravi S, the complainant, had brought the jewellery from Chennai to show it to the producers. He had offered to provide the jewellery for the shooting of the film, which is a period drama.
"After showing the gold and imitation jewellery, Ravi kept it in a nearby caravan. He had his lunch and took rest, later he found that the box was missing," said Gachibowli police station inspector Jupelly Ramesh.
"There is no mention of the exact quantity of jewellery stolen in the complaint. We are questioning everybody at the sets."
The film, directed by Gunasekhar, is about Rani Rudrama Devi, the 13th century warrior princess of Kakatiya Dynasty.
