around 70 grams of gold from a jewellery shop located in the heart of the city today, police said.
The owner, Sonu was at his shop 'SRK Jewellers' in Sector 22 here, when an unidentified youth entered the premises and decamped with around 70 grams of gold, they said.
The victim told police that the youth also fired at him with a pistol, but he escaped unhurt.
However, police said that no signs of bullet marks were spotted at the site and the matter is being investigated.
