Jharkhand basketball teams announced

The Jharkhand basketball teams of men and women to represent the state in the 64th National Basketball Championship was announced today.
The Championship would be held at New Delhi from February 26 to March 5.
The state team was selected based on the players performance at the week-long selection camp, said Harbhajan Singh, Secretary of Jharkhand State Basketball Association.
A former Olympian, Singh said, the men's team would be led by Shamshad Alam while Diksha Alok would be the captain of the women team.
The team:
Men: Shamshad Alam (Capt.), Amit Das, Dinesh Kr. Rajak, Devender Milgandi, Saurabh Kr. Singh, Vishal Bagh, Rakesh Mahato, Alen Peter, Vikash, Manish Singh, Sukhdeep Singh, Abhishekh Jojo.

Women: Diksha Alok (Capt.), Barkha Kachhap, Jacklin Barla, Osma Singh, Usha Gope, Supriya Karan, Joshi Priya, Lovely Kumari, Suman Kumari, Richa Thakur, Madhu Kumari and Mridula Barla.
Singh said the team will leave Jamshedpur for Delhi on February 24.
