Jharkhand-Goa Ranji match washed out

The Ranji trophy match between Jharkhand and Goa, which was scheduled to commence here today, was washed out due to rain that lashed the city last night.
The Group C match was cancelled without a ball being bowled as the rain has made the outfield soggy, the Jharkhand State Cricket Association said.
The steel city had experienced a good spell of rain last night and overcast weather condition prevailed today.
