The approval was given on the recommendation of members of the technical committee of the Jharkhand Film Development Corporation (JFDC), an official release said today.
Of the 20 films approved for production in the state, it includes four Santali films, three films each in Nagpuri, Bhojpuri and Bangla, Khorta one and six Hindi films, it said.
Majority of the shooting of these films would take place at various locations in the state.
Begam Jaan, A death in the Gunj, Ranchi Diary and Ajab Singh ki Gajab Kahani, which were filmed at various locations in Jharkhand, have been released since the formation of JFDC in 2016, the release said.
