Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday condoled the demise of former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.
In her condolence message, Murmu said Swaraj was an orator, a scholar and a wonderful personality in Indian politics, who was praised even by opposition leaders.
She did justice to the people even when she was in poor health. She was also known for providing speedy justice to the people through social media. She was one of the most popular leaders of the world and an inspiration to millions of people. The entire public is heartbroken by her death, Murmu said.
The chief minister said he was shocked and grief-stricken at the demise of Swaraj.
Das said Swaraj was akin to university' in political life and the void she left would be felt.
