Replying on the motion, Parliamentary Affairs Minister C P Singh said the government has decided to end 14 months of "misgovernence".
Referring to the 51-point speech delivered by Governor Syed Ahmed yesterday, Singh said, the government would function with vision, transparency for attainment of goals and everything written in the Governor's speech is a mirror of government's work.
Referring to Marxist Coordination Committee MLA Arup Chatterjee seeking what steps the government would take on the series of scams the state faced, Singh said the government would not be vengeful, and the law would take its course.
Earlier tabling the motion, senior BJP MLA Saryu Roy said the governor's speech has outlined its priorities like zero tolerance against corruption, giving clean, sensitive, hunger-free governance and taking all sections in the all round development.
Speaking against the motion, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) MLA Pradip Yadav claimed there was nothing new in the speech with the government being silent on mineral resources and that whether it would recommend CBI probe into sand mining, the issue which rocked the House last year.
