Jharkhand sizzles as Jamshedpur touching 44.2 deg C

Heat wave continued today in Jharkhand as steel city Jamshedpur and Dumka today both recorded maximum 44.2 degree C.
State capital Ranchi experienced a hot day with 41 degree C, a MeT official said, adding Palamau, Jamtara and Khunti sizzled in 43.3, 41 and 40 degree C respectively.
