Mukhi's five strikes (10th, 32nd, 49th, 53rd, 65th) were the highlight of the finals as Chotu Tirkey (47th), Vikash Balnuchu (80th) and Ashish Mukhi (89th) also contributed with a goal each.
Goa, who put up a good fight in the first half to go into the break with 2-2 scoreline, post a 0-2 trail were looking good only to lose the plot in the second half. But some sloppy defending and goalkeeper errors saw them concede six goals in the final half. They reduced the margin through Aaron Barreto (33rd), Boris d'Mello (44th) and Aaron Alvares (78th).
Banking on their tall defenders, Jharkhand showed their might with Gourav Mukhi making a double impact in the first half itself.
Unperturbed by the 0-2 setback the Goan fought back and reduced the margin in the 33rd minute through Barreto.

The goal spurred the Goan side as it found the equaliser a minute before half time when D'mello netted.
After resumption, Goan defense was in complete shambles as they conceded two quick goals in a span of two minutes as Tirkey and Gourav Mukhi, who scored his hat-trick, took the match away from them.
Balmuchu and Ashish Mukhi added to the score sheet in the dying minutes to give Jharkhand an resounding 8-3 win over Goa.
