Jilted lover ends life on girl's marriage day

A youth here committed suicide by hanging himself on the day of the marriage of the girl whom he loved, but could not tie the knot following parental pressure.
23-year-old Anil, who worked as an insurance agent, was found hanging by his colleagues who had gone to his house in Siyani Gate after he did not turn up for work, police said.
In his suicide note, he said his parents did not allow him to marry the girl, they said.
Anil also rued that he could not rise in his carrer despite being away from home for six years, but thanked his boss for his support and care, they said.

He was a native of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
