The album called "People, Hell and Angels," features songs of the late guitarist which were recorded between 1968 and 1970. The tracks were expected to appear on the follow-up to 1968's "Electric Ladyland," but were never officially released, reported CBS.
Many of the songs were recorded at New York's Record Plant Studios. And there's even a guest appearance by Stephen Stills.
According to a statement on JimiHendrix.Com, the album "encompass a variety of unique sounds and styles incorporating many of the elements - horns, keyboards, percussion and second guitar."
